Tell it like it is Zack! Leaf acolytes hate to hear it, but running it back year after year with bottom 6 being duct tape, defence soft and getting old, and goaltending highly suspect will not work. Matthews, Nylander and Marner obviously all amazing, but after that good luck! Lili injured, McCabe injured, get the duct tape out and call the Senior's Residence to pull Gio's buddies out for reinforcements. Hey I'm your latest subscriber! Loved your stuff on your previous channel that's why I subscribed. The Leafs are missing some physical defenseman. Goalies have to stand on their heads. Sorry Brodie and Klingberg are not doing their job clearing the net. Bertuzzi should be used on the powerplay to at least cause a distraction. Anyways not the GM and I hope the Leafs get it together.
Your right Zach. They should fire Keefe and promote Boucher. He is exactly the type of coach this team needs. Keefe should hook up with his buddy Dubas. Soft hockey for life in Pittsburgh.

You know I love your podcast Zack, but Knies is unproven and needs to be nurtured slowly. Remember he was concussed in the playoffs so will need protection – he looks good, but I believe you are overrating him at this point. He will be a solid 20G 25A winger which is good, but I don't think he will be a big impact winger.
"Mob mentality" for Leafs is Auston and Mitch trying to run and hide. These two expect others to do the dirty work for them. Trust me, they don't have the respect of their mates for that.
JT needs protection from Bert as he has been absolutely destroyed twice in past 2 years – Myers this past season, and the playoffs vs. Habs 2 years ago by Perry. He is fragile and one more big hit might be his last.
