Steve hits the nail on the head – the fundamental problem with this team is that there is too much money tied up in the top guys. Even though they’re playing amazing, the rest of the team is trash and nothing is going to change until they can fill the bottom six and the d core with good players. Dubas managed to put some decent players together with limited means but Treliving just butchered it. Some major structural changes are needed with this club.

I gotta wonder what would have happened if they had kept Lafferty, how do u justify cutting one of the only players who showed in the playoffs and last I checked is doing great in Vancouver
I’m still hoping Domi works out (I do think he wants to be here just had some bad luck) but yeah they really shouldn’t have traded lafferty
