I'll probably get torched for saying this but I really think Nemec should have gotten his NHL spot over Hughes. Hughes is a defensive liability. He'll get better but it seems whenever he's pressured he makes a horrible pass or just turns the puck over. I think he will be good but we need better play in our zone. Dougie is a liability but USUALLY makes up for it with is offensive play in the O zone. HUGHES needs to be better. I think if his last name was Miller, he'd be on the bench I think he's paired with Smith, could be wrong but either way I feel Nemec would be better defensively. It's what we need right now. Better D especially with Marino struggling. Also, losing Graves hurts. He ate up a lot of minutes and blocked a lot of shots. Growing pains

Focus on the defense boys it all starts with that. The offense will come naturally after.
