    leafs sound and look like the oilers of a few years ago. the big guns producing but zilch from the bottom 6 or so on offence. and the goalies were just average. this could be a long, long season leaf fans.

    I cannot continue to endure this pain. I'm almost 60 years old and I have come to the inescapable conclusion that I hate the Leafs. I hate this organization. Who they are, what they stand for, their Liberal politics. All they do is drive you crazy. You can continue to watch these assholes who won't even stick up for each other with a player struggling to get up and they do nothing except bark at the Officials for a penalty. I hate Keef, I hate Nylander and Matthews. I swear off hockey and you wait until you're 60, James. I'll keep the seat warm for ya. Shorthanded goals at home, goals against only 4 seconds after scoring. You'll be here too.

    Gotta switch out Reeves, too slow for the NHL and line 4 is just losing matchups almost every game. I love his hitting and fighting, but in todays NHL you need speed and skill. There's a reason he's been to several teams, they likely realize he's just an enforcer an a below average hockey player. So far 8 on the season, worst in the team with Klingberg at -6 being the second worse. I know the + stat isn't always the best stat to look at, but when you're on a offensive minded team like the Leafs, most of your team should be close to 0 or positive.

    Brads signing this off season turns out to be underwhelming after 11 games. Something needs to be done, the Atlantic division is a very tough one, you can't lose these types of games.

    Currently the leafs have the same record as the Habs, a rebuilding team mind you.. not a good look.

    The core four have been great though, its the bottom 6, the defense, and this soft mentality the issue.

    You can't blame the coach for playing shit players. There is 9-10 players on this team that should not be on a contending team. Blame the GMs and President who put them there. As bad as these 9-10 players are, there is a non-trivial number of minutes you need to play them for to give the other guys a rest. This is not on the coach. He cannot play his best guys the entire game and he cannot play guys he does not have on the roster! If you think you're frustrated, how do you think Keefe feels?
