Not the Leafs. Next July 1 the cap goes up. Is it possible to find decent players then or will the cap be eaten up to pay players on expiring contracts? Really, what does Brad have to work with?
I agree with biz butsince hes an analyst he should understand the leafs have no choice but run kilngberg out there bc theres no one else left to put out there. Have you seen the leafs defensive depth chart. This team is done for already

Keep pretending also that Tavares is or ever was an elite center. Stop. Take a guy like Kopitar. Leaps and bounds more valuable than Tavares ever was/is. But let’s keep pretending.
The change of the GM was just a spec of what needed to change. Shanahan changed the culture but not for the better. I knew when we drafted matthews and everything was starting to look promising, they'd find a way to mess it up. And here we are.
