  1. Jamie Benn was oddly a non factor this game in terms of being aggressive and physical. I swear if he was playing MN, he would’ve started a fight no doubt

  2. Duchene’s helmet is rocking all over the place during the hit because it’s extra loose. If that had come off he would have smashed his head on the boards or ice. The NHLPA need to get their s*** together and stop fighting the NHL to make players use proper chin straps.

NFL players don’t complain they, know it could save their lives.

  3. Clean check No. 2876518 that leads to an unnecessary dropping of gloves. Forget 10-minute misconducts and start issuing game misconducts and this nonsense will finally come to an end.

  4. I hate it that the NHL "code" now includes clean but heavy hits. Toughness is a lot more than being able to fight. Back in the day when there was a big clean hit you got back up and carried on with play trying to make your own big clean hit. Yes, you have to stick up for your teammates for dirty hits or questionable play but this "need" to fight after a big clean hit is ridiculous. And cowardly. Hockey is a contact sport and if you can't take a hit go play something else. Not every big hit needs a fight.

  5. After being fed 4 knuckle sandwich uppercuts, Cole breaks the code and punches Marchment in the face while he's down on the ice on his back.
Cowardly act that all NHL players will take note of. Quick way to ruin your reputation in the league.

  6. He knew exactly who he was hitting after hughes un called stiff arm. After years of watching petey get rag dolled….. matheson….. etc with no fight in us…….. this was amazing. Sent to the shadow realm

  7. Duchene elbowed Hughes in the face earlier in the game. dont know if this was payback

  8. Beauty hit at the perfect time when momentum was really shifting in Canucks favor, this just solidified the fact the Canucks were in charge.
Also let’s not overlook Joshua’s nice open ice hit too, he was a pit bull out there

  9. I didn't even notice but Garland takes the puck and shoots it inside the net before the whistle is even blown.
