I’m interested to see how this game plays out. The leafs have had a tough week with almost their entire fan base and media calling them the softest team in history after the Marchand incident. Even their coach and hired enforcer spoke on the topic negatively. They need a win and they need to show everyone they are not a soft team. Who better to remedy all of this with then their recent nemesis? Or it can be just a standard game with big hits in the first period and nothing.
Who is projected to be in net since it’s a back to back?
I hate the leafs. I hate them like Anakin hates sand.
This team needs to re-learn team defense. The D-men absolutely HAVE to start getting better at defending. Sergachev really needs to remember he has to play D..dude is at -8 for the season. I’m usually a Sergy-apologist/defender but yikes he’s making it really hard this year.

I think the team really needs this one tonight. Not for points in the standings but for confidence against a team that could very well end up being a playoff opponent again. They now have a trend of outplaying the Leafs for long portions of games and then being unable to close it out and losing in gut wrenching fashion. Has to impact the psyche at some point. Hoping for a strong 60 minute effort and a win in regulation
