Horvat leaving was a revelation
I know it was Demko vs Oettinger, but it looked a helluva lot like Luongo vs. Turco. Incredible game by both the goalies, but our grinders and our resident superstar for making the difference. The fact that we're getting meaningful production from our entire roster is a testament to Rick Tocchet and our coaching staff. A good top six will bring you to the playoffs, a solid bottom six is what will win you games once you get there.
Calm down knuckleheads , Winnipeg is the most recent Canadian team to come hot out of the gate to start the NHL season . So they were saying the same shat . The NHL season is 82 games long , not 10 or 20 but 82 games. Wait till the injury bug starts . And whatever drugs they are taking wear off .
Tocchet & his support staff are doing a fantastic job 🙂 I believe they deserve the most credit. Also, this team has earned this. They've been through the trenches the last 4 or 5 years, and that harsh adversity has matured them to where they are now. SOOOO excited about this team for years to come!!!!
This team is in it to win it. I'll be 100% sold if they can punch through Vegas.

The Canucks are legit. Everything for them this year is coming together.
I feel they are good but;they need to carry this performance forward through the season. There's a lot more games to go and the NHL is a rough, tough league. The Canucks need to not get too high on themselves.

Looking at the schedule, I think we'll get at least ten wins in November, and, if they can stay healthy, we'll get in the playoffs, and not in a Wild Card spot. If things keep going our way, we'll certainly be in the discussion for a Stanley Cup in the next couple of years. Fans really underestimated the new Management team and what they were building here. They knew they had the star pieces, and despite the Cap issues they felt they could make our PK better, and with RT as the coach, he could get them playing as a Team. That's why they went with JT, they knew he had the drive and passion to instill a winning attitude on the rest of his team mates. You can tell this team is all in and believe in themselves, and that can really make a difference. We're witnessing it. Cheers, Trev
Gotta say I been a fan since they first came out. Honestly the team and players wont get respect unless they hoist a cup. As soon as they lose, the trolls come out of the woodwork and crap on the team.I really like this team though. Just need Beauvillier and Suter to ramp it up a little.
