For me, I blame the coaching… spread your team out and have 3 lines that are outrageous, not just 2. This team is capable of more. Need to experience more with your roster. 🤷♂️

He can’t do anything because the coach has him chained to the bench or giving him a few shifts on the forth line. The problem is the the coach culture is built around 4 players and the rest are rentals. I would never sign as a free agent with this team knowing the team revolves around 4 forwards and 1 defencman. Fire the coach is my answer to the reason guys like Bertuzzi and Domi can’t get going. Plan and simple Keefe is a shit coach.😊
That is a large disgrace by Bertuzzi. When is the league going to do something about Wes MacCauly and his officiating when he does a leaf game and do something about him.
Everyone loves Brad Marchand deep down. He’s the guy you want on your team

Bruins are known for taking players from lower teams and exploding their stats.
He had a very specific defined role in Boston. And that's how you do it with some of these players. Bertuzzi may not fit in Toronto – look at that pathetic bench.
He was the one that took Cousin's stick, he couldn't break it but he tried

Leafs might want to think about your coaching and culture. You bring a guy like Bert in, and then you neutralize him. That's the type of oddball player you celebrate – embrace. You don't leave them sitting off in the corner on the bench by themselves
Frankly, he looks confused out there playing for toronto. I can see why he was sent down to the fourth line.
Leafs are not utilizing him for the role player he can be.
He was top line with pasta doing great on the bruins. Send him down to fourth line hell and you're probably going to get less out of him.
But I never took it as a great loss when the Bruins let him go – he was with the Bruins for 10 weeks, coming from a much lower team onto a team that was on its wsy to setting a franchise record.
He's recently broken both hands. Has an injury history, definitely a great player, absolutely of value – not for what he was asking and looking for.
He was relatively unvetted going to the leafs cuz he came from the Bruins who were already a top team, well-oiled machine. Prior to that he was injured, or didn't play full seasons cuz he didn't get the vaccine, not allowed in Canada
So his recent history is not clear
Yet, there's a reason Bert's not getting signed for what he wants on a long-term contract.
Toronto was short sighted thinking they could just plug him in and he'd play like he did on the bruins. You don't have our lines, coaches, nor players.
Toronto may have gotten what they paid for.
When he was wearing the spoked B, he was flying high. Because he was wearing black & gold! Playing with Pasta.
But the key word we heard out of bertuzzi in Boston that we don't hear in Toronto is the word "fun"
You can overanalyze this game all you want – if hockey players are not having fun? They don't win.
Don't know of bertuzzi is going to be changing that tattoo on his chest from a leaf back to a spoked B or Red Wing

It’s not just the player it’s the team and the coach that make the toughness. Leafs will never win with Keefe. And players that are skillful but physically weak like Marner and even Nylander and Tavares will never win you a SC
Boston has no reason to be this good after losing the players that they did. The only possible reason is collusion or rigging hockey games for the mafia.
