Been a Canucks fan my whole life. We had Naslund/Bertuzzi, Sedins, Kesler, Lu etc. some amazing teams over the years with amazing players recognized by the whole league, but this is honestly the first time the canucks have had players that are absolutely world class gamebreakers in Hughes and Petterson. The kind of players where they can absolutely make something out of nothing due to their playstyle

Stanley cup? Oilers? Last time I checked u need goaltending, u have to be defensively sound, u have to be hard on the puck/win battles, minimize turnovers…etc. All of which the oilers do not do.

Love the fact that Quinn bear-hugged the oil guy from behind and restrained the oil guy from doing any harm his Canucks teammates during that brawl 😅. If it were the other captain, he would definitely have swiftly skated away and pretended that nothing was happening to his teammates😮
