coming from a diehard kings fan, i think that lundqvist did a hell of a job in net. He was the only player/goalie to play consistently through the finals for the rangers. Kreider choked on two breakaways that would've been game winners and Nash was just a ghost the whole playoffs. Martin St. Louis played like typical Martin St. Louis and Brad Richards choked when the finals came around. Kings are a more complete team and thats what wins the cup

I think what really stings (and mind you, I love Hank), but in this era of Hank, the Rangers season has painfully ended in OT (or in 1 case shootout) 4x. 2008 (Pittsburgh), 2010 (Philly), 2012 (NJ), now here. Being eliminated in OT is the cruelest way to go.
Guys, give Lundquivst some slack! I can't imagine what it would feel like too be getting scored on when Ur team could have won it. And he's sitting there with a horn blasting in his ear, and Ur all calling him bad names! I'm not a Rangers fan AT all! But I do like Lundquivst a lot! I think he's generous and a great guy! Please give him some slack 🙂 He doesn't really deserve it! Too go that far is unbelievable! Congratulations too the Kings on winning the cup and all, but please give him some slack! You can't help but feel absolutely terrible for Lundqvist. That was the CLOSEST he's ever gotten to the Cup. Hurts to just watch him lay there after Martinez scored the Cup clincher. Imagine how utterly empty he felt
