MEILLEUR DÉPART DE L’HISTOIRE // Canucks vs Oilers Post Game

Les Canucks de Vancouver ont démantelé les Oilers d’Edmonton, s’imposant 6-2 après avoir été dominés tôt. Il s’agit du meilleur départ des Canucks dans l’histoire de la franchise. ▶ Twitter : https://twitter.com/parkerspucks ▶ Canucks After Dark : https://youtube.com/canucksafterdark Bienvenue chez ParkersPucks ! 1. It was great seeing the Canucks set this record wearing my favourite jersey with their goal song continuing to be one of my top 10 favourite songs all time. Loved seeing Hughes continue to pile the points up…Kevin McCarthy 2.0, but better, and it has been that long of a wait since we had a "C" slapped on an offensive defenseman like that.

  2. To me it looked like Demko stuck his leg out just a little bit. I am a Canucks fan.

  3. Demko misplayed the puck on the second goal, and he didn't try to get back in his net. Instead, he tried to set a pick. That is why Tocchet did not challenge for goal tender interference, because there was a very good chance he would lose the challenge.

  4. If the 3rd goal was not disallowed, Canucks could of challenged for goal tender interference. The Oiler player was pushing Demko's right leg pads with his stick, pushing him off of the puck.

  5. They are also playing well, they didn't fold after going down 1. They only had one stinker this year, Philly, but even if they get on their back foot like last night for a bit they always try to fight back.

  6. For years, I’ve complained that even in 2011, when the Canucks were getting accused of being arrogant, I thought they seemed too nice. They’ve always had that identity since 1990, when I started watching, except when Messier was here and it was a literal mess. Whether Linden was the captain or Naslund or the Sedins, I thought the Canucks were too nice and not ruthless enough. They weren’t willing to be complete jerks to win. The Tocchet PP move in the 3rd suggests that’s changed. And I like that. Nice teams finish last, or they don’t win anything. This team is willing to go for the jugular to win and they’re not afraid to run up a score against anyone, including McDavid. Good. About time. This team doesn’t care what you think of them.

  7. Canucks are looking so good Vancouver fans are already planning their playoff riot

  8. I just wanna quick summary of Canucks that are in the top of the stats right now.

    Goals: Brock Boeser #2
Assists: Elias Pettersson #1, Quinn Hughes tied #2, Filip Hronek #4, J.T. Miller #10
Points: Elias Pettersson #1, Quinn Hughes tied #2, J.T. Miller #8 (Defence only Hughes/Hronek are #1 and #3)
    GAA: Thatcher Demko #4
    Save Percentage: Thatcher Demko #2
    Shutouts: Thatcher Demko tied #1

Also Demko is the only uncontested #1 goalie so remove Swayman, Quick and Reimer and he is #1 in those 3 goalie stats. lol
