Waiting for the return of Upcan’s rants.

I am once again mocking a “rebuilding” team for prioritizing the PHD Line over one of its young scorers.

Legit didn’t see that coming. Looked like he was finding his flow – and I’ve always had more of a negative view on Frost.

I mean, guys, Jordan Weal is currently leading the KHL in points. I’ve said on this sub many times before that scoring points in the NHL is not nearly as hard as earning the opportunity to score points in the NHL.

At this point I find myself going more towards the Upcan position. There’s no good excuse to not find out what you have with this player while the team is rebuilding. Scotty Laughton should play down in the lineup to make room. Maybe Frost ends up being the next KHL points leader, or maybe he locks in an offensive role on a winning NHL team…. We need to find out.

Now can Bill make that same tweet but replace couturier with hart.

Frost had been very noticeable on the ice and making some great passes. He should have had the assist on D’s first nhl goal. He’s also been good on the forecheck and forcing turnover in the offensive and neutral zone.

I’m not sure how Scotty L doesn’t move to the 4th line center, and Frost is third line C.

Give me the good cholesterol line.

The problem torts has with frost is that hes small so he can’t contribute to torts heavy defense system

I’m sure if frost was playing a complete game 200ft, he wouldn’t be scratched even without points

So if he’s not putting up points, if he can’t defend, scratched.

While I do believe torts could be handling him a bit better, frost has over 160 games played now and his point per game average isn’t very good

You can argue that he doesn’t have good finishers around him, but Giroux as a playmaker was able to make even average players better around him, frost hasn’t done that.

« Frost with michkov would work great »

You could prolly throw michkov on a line with just about anybody and he’ll put the puck in, that’s not a great reason imo to validate was frost can contribute

At this point in team, in a rebuilding mode, I could go with him in the lineup until trade deadline to see what he’s capable of, but also with saying that, has frost really shown that he’s going to be a super big asset to this team moving forward?

A offensive player will *definitely* find his rhythm by playing 2 games and then getting scratched routinely lol.

He didn’t look great but holy shit, this team isn’t a contender, play the guy who may be a part of the future, and at the very least will be an asset.

Noah Cates is immune. Black hole offensively and has made major mistakes on GWGs in recent games. Pathetic org.
