1. Their team defense is brutal. Mcdavid and draisaitl are scorers not 200 foot players. Whoever thought they were gonna win a cup like that is daft

  2. Oilers have the two best goalies in the AHL and two of the worst in the NHL. Campbell just put on waivers is headed down, Pickard likely coming up. Will it make any difference with the team's horrid D?

  3. Can't really say they didn't show up when they were absolutely flying off the start and were 19-2 in shots. Weak-ish goaltending and D have just deflated Drai and McDavid year after year game after game.

  4. CM and LD are the reasons the oilers are so SHIT. along with a few other high paid players.
STOP blaming the goalies when the players in front of them are gutless lightweights with no heart balls or D skills to help the goalies out.

  5. so what happened on instagram that everyone was talking about? saying there is tension in the locker room before this game even started?

  6. I'm a Flames fan and this is still hard to see the oilers play this bad, like it is kinda nice that we aren't the only team doing bad but still it is hard to watch

  7. As a Canucks fan, I feel for Edmonton and know what it’s like when your team doesn’t play up to its potential. I supported the oilers when we were out of contention. Hope they turn it around… always been a fun rivalry. Canucks have a history of great goaltending 🙏🏼

  8. In the first period the Oilers were out shooting the Canucks 19 to 3 it was tied @ 1 then Vancouver took the lead so 2 goals on 4 shots is disgraceful and 19 from the Oilers at that point and only one goal the Oilers need some serious help and fast or else they will be stuck at the bottom of the league with san Jose for the entire season it seems

  9. Not sure how McDavid will ever succeed and win a cup there. The team seems to make bad decisions regarding roster, theyve never had and seem to not go after any cup contending goaltenders and defense hasnt been solid in ??? years as far as i can remember. Superstars should have a chance at the cup, but him and a handful of hard workers wont get it done, just my opinion

  10. The score with 13 minutes went was 4-2 and the Oilers just starting turning into the 70s Flyers instead of the Oilers of 2022

  11. Didn’t show up? Dude they outshot and outplayed the canucks all over the ice.

And boom, first few shots from the canucks go in? The goaltending is beyond a joke
