I hate questioning the effort level and character of professional athletes, but this group has completely thrown the towel. I can accept a poor record of a team that is rebuilding and on paper the worst team in the league, however getting double digits scored on you at home in back to back games is not a talent issue. On top of that in the Vancouver game Kahkonen was drilled by a Canucks player after one of their many goals. Not one Sharks player bothered to intervene. Honestly that was more telling than the scoreline.
I'm confident things will get turned around in the next few years, but there is a ton of work to do right the ship and gain back some of the good will that has been lost with the fans.
I saw a stat that the oilers goalies is worse then the sharks. That’s a positive

I want this team to win no more than 10 games and suck like no other NHL team has ever sucked before. Why? Because I want that as a Sharks fan. Give me a reading to care about this team. Because they sure didn’t win that potential Stanley Cup over a 15 year period. I know this team is gonna suck this year, if they already haven’t in the last 4. Suck hard! Then not get the number one pick because Sharks and draft lotteries are rigged anyway.
The issue is that the team has no fight. This team desperately needs a win for morale reasons.

Saturday was an absolute disgrace. It was disgusting. It was a complete sell out and they put on that effort. They outright arent trying, to the point tje NHL is investigating the team for tanking. This is an absolute embarrassment to the team. The league needs to and most likely will take control of the franchise

Well Sharks fans the Oilers roll into town in a couple nights and I would not be surprised if the Sharks win. Hoping the rebuild in San Jose gets better, have always liked the sharks, best uniforms in the NHL!

The Sharks remain the ONLY team without a win through 12 games in the 2023-24 NHL season. (they will lose tonight, so I just put 12 anyway XD)
The Sharks have no motivation, no chemistry, and no optimism being displayed by anybody working for them.
Anybody wearing Sharks gear of any kind in 2023 should be provided free counseling sessions sponsored by Sharks Sports & Entertainment on top of the money they already wasted in supporting this absolute joke of a sports business in California.

Bottom line is they aren’t playing as a team. Wether that’s a lack of chemistry or coaching (I think it’s both) remains to be seen. There are no excuses for the play in the last two games, they were chasing the puck the entire time like they had zero game plan or structure besides figuring it out between the 3 forwards and 2 defensemen on the ice. If I were in mike Grier’s shoes I would get rid of Quinn and bring in a coach that would implement some form of a trap style hockey to help our defensive play. It would be near impossible to squeeze more goals out of this team but you can at least develop a better team defensive structure to mitigate the extreme number of goals and chances we are giving up. It won’t be pretty and we won’t be moving up in the standings but at least it would bring them to a respectable level of play.
Sharks getting every bogus calls in playoffs to one of the worst team in history of the league in just 4 years. Lmao
