I watched him in Rochester last year and he looked so much better than everyone else on the ice. This progression doesn’t surprise me at all. He’s relentless and has good vision. He’s an absolute draft steal and I love that our late first round/early second round picks are doing the kinds of things they’re doing (e.g. Kulich)
Everything about his game is fast right now. There is no hesitation. It’s paying off.
It’s because of me. Last season when we were on ESPN I listened to the Spanish telecast and he scored and the Spanish guy was cranked up to 11 yelling YAY YAY PATERKA. Now this season… I love Yay Yay… and keep taking him for 1st goal of the game. Every time I take him, he doesn’t get it, then I don’t take him, he gets it, then I take him again and he scores the 2nd goal/1st Sabres goal but not the 1st goal. I’ll keep doing what I’m doing
