@Oilers d'Edmonton

  1. Jay Woodcroft's weak chin is the reason Edmonton won't win a cup.

  2. Lets be honest this was years in the making. Connor McDavid is the main cause of the implosion. His speed is useless unless he learns how to use it to make his team better.

  3. One more top 5 draft pick and the Oilers will be scary in the future

  4. "Fragile??"…Outshooting teams 40–16 in a game and 19–2 in a period?…..How about a combination of unlucky, untimely mistakes, 5 consecutive penalties in one period (Winnipeg), Brain dead refs, (last game vs Canucks) ,McDavid playing hurt and bad puck luck, and running into hot goalies. The Oilers easily could have won 5 more games this year. We wouldn't even be having this discussion if they did.
    Everything on this slump is fixable……The amount of piling on from other markets is amusing. Oilers will bounce back. I can't wait to remind some fan's in other markets around March or April what they were saying this November.

  5. You can fire the coach but team is still going to be the same, changing the coach every isnt the problem, its the players their grown ass men that get million of dollars get the dam job done. We can say this over and over again it the goaltending and the defence unti they strenghten those areas thei going to be the same Oilers. Good luck against the sharks, Go Oilers Go.

  6. Campbell has never been a number 1, but he generally has been a good goalie in the teams he's played for. The Oilers defense has never been great, but Jack Campbell became a bad goalie once he came to Edmonton. Bad defense is some of it, ultimately it comes down to bad goaltender coaching.

  7. T’rana Spurts Knee-jerk

    All the atypical haters & trolls conveniently run their mouths when you’re down…miraculously growing a pair.
    Back to mommy’s basement, your little video games & bad music…What a joke! 🥴

  8. It was clear as day even before the Oil got stomped by Colorado in 22 that they dont focus on getting a good defensive group or goalie. You cannot win by relying on Connor the same way that LA could never win with just Wayne.

    The hilarious part is that they felt Ekholm was the answer on defense. He is decent but on a team like Colorado, he would be their number 6 replacing Jack Johnson… thats how low of a d-man he is when compared to an actual Cup contender.

    Campbell is not a #1 by any stretch but he is getting the shaft here when the team hangs him out to dry.

    What’s most OFFENSIVE is the ironic, inbred denial & DEFENSIVE posturing emanating from The Centre of Their Universe.

    The L A S T time T’rana won the Stanley Cup was the F I N A L season of the Original 6️⃣. Pretty good odds…

    KARMA’S a 🐝-otch, baby‼️

  10. These big contracts are only promising complacency. A lot of lazy play throughout the league.
