Canucks had enough powerplay chances in regulation. Special teams was the difference in this game. Too bad, both teams played hard. When there is 24 minutes of powerplay time, the refs mismanaged the game.

Close call. To my eyes it looked like Kreider was spinning and the Canuck player skated into Kreiders foot.
Shesterkin made two great saves on his countryman Kuzmenko to preserve OT for his teammates to win it. As much as I cheer for the Nucks, it was not a clear cut trip on Petey, just unlucky that it caused a 3 on 1.

At first I thought it was an accidental trip (hey, stuff happens)… but when watching the play in slo-mo, it can clearly be seen that in a desperation move, Kreider purposely lifts/extends his left skate towards Pettersson's left skate… causing the trip. Yes, the refs missed this call.

I was there and there were calls that didn't go both ways but this was the most egregious one.
Kreider was turning to the right but did shift his foot just an inch and it caught Petey's skate.
At the same time, this was way too close to call and could've gone either way.
