   I’ll add one more. Someone made a great point comparing offensive Vs defensive structured teams.

   We start slow, and pick it up. It’s maddening, but reason to not worry.

   On the other hand, the organization has gotten blood from this stone for almost a decade, more prevelant since JT left.

   Players are aging, and aside from Brock who is aging like fine wine, it’s either grin and bear it as the Eastern Conference version of a mediocre Wild team, or year it down to rebuild.

   Lou needs to step down so we can get a new GM here with a new vision. We had a good run, and maybe this is what we are. We know what the defense can give us and it’s in place. Goaltending with a strong d can take us only so far. Our center depth is outstanding. Give us two wingers that can be game changing. And it starts with packaging Barzal out and bringing in something new.
