I really don’t feel great about the line combos. Tired of Holtz being buried in the fourth line with Bastian and Tiereny. Think we’d do much better with a second line of Holtz-Haula-Meier. Holtz has been generating more offense than Palat and Mercer, give the kid a chance to succeed. Palat and Mercer should be taking bottom six minutes. We shouldn’t have to be icing AHL-tier lines with a roster as deep as ours.
Anyway, I’ll be going to the game tonight. Hopefully the boys can pick up some much needed points. But the lines from yesterday’s practice concern me quite a bit.
It’s 11pm Friday night here & I am drunk. I’ll be up in the morning to watch the game though, keen to see the boys get the W!! Have a good Friday everyone!
It would be really nice to see Timo start to earn that $8.8m. This should be a player that can take over a game. I’ve been critical of him since last season, and was flamed for it on numerous occasions, but the guy has to step up and be « the guy ». No more passengers.
