Why can’t I just give him some of mine? A tragically early end.

He must have been in incredible pain and self medicate to deal with it. Medical staff should have caught it years ago.

Is the loss of cartilage in the femur a result of compensating for a injured knee over the years?

  4. HonestDespot

I can’t help but wonder what may have been for Carey had he not come back so quickly that one year when he reinjured himself.

Fuck Bergevin for never getting that guy a proper team.

FUCK CHRIS KREIDER! He should be forced to give his femur cartilage to Price

Saying this is completely against any form of doctor-patient confidentiality! Hopefully Carey approved Mulder disclosing this information, even though it’s not the most sensitive information of all time, it’s still private medical information. It’s not usually a physician’s role to disclose that to the public…

Fuck Chris Kreider. Also fuck Berg for never going all in and getting Price the team he deserved.

This isn’t the entire truth. From Price’s own mouth, they can fix that with a 75% confidence. Price was worried about how the 25% would affect his day to day life. Price’s decision seems sensible but I don’t think it would be an easy decision for anyone to make. He played a lot of games, had a great career, likely his best chance at the Cup just passed, he has a young family, he’ll get paid anyway, why not just call it. Maybe it was an easy decision.

Chris Kreider ruined his career. He also rushed back for the habs 100th year

I wonder if some of this isn’t medical malpractice either by the team doctors or physiotherapists. Did the allow him to go back too early? Did someone miss something in an image? We’ll never know of course but I’ve been suspicious of their medical team for years.

Si y avait rangé son cartilage à la bonne place, je suis sûr qu’il l’aurait pas perdu. En tout cas c’est ce que ma mère aurait dit.

  13. What the hell? I had the same thing (except it’s my knee’s cartilage that’s gone).

    Am… am I Carey Price?
