1. I saw the Nordiques play in the Colisee in 1986. SRO. They had fans pay to attend in 1990 because there's not a lot going on there. Plus the fans wanted to see the other teams.

  2. Ottawa Senators in their first year was the worst team ever… i watched a couple of those games, it was like a practice for the other team

  3. I'd say things aren't looking good for them after taking back to back 10 goals against, shitkickings

  4. 8:35: It is November 5th and they backed up that Vancouver loss by giving up ANOTHER TEN GOALs to Pittsburgh last night. Outscored 20-3 in two games. They are the first team since the 1965-66 Boston Bruins to give up double digit goals in 2 consecutive games.

  5. 11:47: It was 1993-1994, the first season in their new building and with a new head coach. They lost in the second round to Toronto in 7 games after being up 3-2 going into game 6

  6. I find it hard to believe they will win less games than the Capitals. In 2021-22 season the Coyotes who started 0-8-1 and only had 6 wins in the first 3 months of the season. But they ended up with 25 wins. With more teams in the playoffs and thus a longer playoff schedule, the regular season is more compressed than it was back before the major expansions began. Fewer days off, more back to backs games, injuries, dilution of talent ( with so many teams in the league) and flat out other teams getting burned out probably increases the chances of upsets, even by the worst teams.

14 though seems unattainable. The story for the rest of the season is if they can first, win a ninth game so they do not have the futility level of the Caps and secondarily can they get to double digit wins? They do have a small factor in their favor as the schedule today is 82 games, compared to 80 back then. Double digits will also put them above the lowest season win total in the NBA, which was the God Awful Philadelphia 76ers in 1972-73 with 9 wins in an 82 game season.
