I don’t know what the hell this game was, but I loved it. Take your pick: 200 Wins for Chief, Binner absolutely owning Ball Arena tonight, two hatties, and Stan Kronke almost assuredly crying himself to sleep tonight (albeit on a pile of money).

Just like we all predicted
Best game of the season by light years for Schenner, Buch and Krug. Binny, RobTom, Colt, Sunny, Blaiser, Neighbours, Kap and maybe someone else I’m forgetting were also top shelf.
Just a quick note if Kap has to miss any games: Bolduc has been starting to put it all together the last 5-6 games down in the A. IIRC he has 1G 3A and a +2 in his last 6 (or something along those lines). I also would not be opposed to seeing Walker come back up.

Best win of the season. While I’ve had my doubts at times I did say at the beginning of the season I thought this team may surprise people. If this a sign of things to come, then I’ll be a happy Blues boy.

Buch with a hat trick was third star, and the crazy thing is I can’t argue too much.
A strong case can be made for those three in any order.

Man I almost forgot how much I love Buch when he’s having fun. That shit eating smirk. I respect how he’s hard on himself as well. All our lines are looking f solid. Everyone playing roles. We’re showing depth. We can get scoring from anyone any given night. Impressive win. It’s easier to exceed expectations when they are not high. But having to live up to big hype? Those military jerseys are sick. Do the ones in the stores have the flag numbers?

Takeaways:
1. Finally beating Colorado. I’m pretty sure we beat them last year but it feels like wins are rare against these pricks. To do it in this fashion in their building, so damn satisfying.
2. Binnington remains world class and there’s no else I’d rather have in net with the way he’s playing this year. Fun fact: every time binner fucks the avs an angel gets its wings.
3. Schenn, Buchnevich, and the power play ALL needed this outburst badly. Up next: Kyrou and Vrana.
Also, I hope Kapanen is ok. He’s been very good in all facets of the game this year.
In a game full of highlight moments one of the best plays was during one of CO’s 3rd period power plays neighbors s checked McKinnon off the puck as he entered the zone then cleared it. I heard some Avs fans booing 29. 🤘😝🤘
Haven’t had that much fun at the ball sack in quite some time.
