stanley cup contenders? laughable. I called it before the season even started the oilers will miss the playoffs and their coach will get fired. The most ridiculous prediction ever was oilers in the cup. They got lucky making the playoffs last year. They have no defense and no goaltending.

The X factor in the Oilers' downfall is the GM. Holland drove the Wings into the ground before Yzerman came back. I was shocked when he went to Edmonton. Remember thinking at the time that he's going to ruin that team.

im with you Whit. I flew miles and miles away to be in Carolina for Game 5 in 2006 to see them in the finals. I have been a die hard fan for many years. I'm done, i'm so done man. The same issues keep coming up. I already had bought my ticket for Oilers Habs in Jan 24 and im dreading it at this point. Need to drown this bad year with some Pink Whitney!
