Look, when we couldn’t play D and could score at will, Pat Kane made no sense. Sorry, but he really does now. I definitely didn’t feel this way before but it’s big true now.
Patrick Kane is a Stanley Cup champion, Olympic medalist, and future hockey hall of famer. There are currently 0 of those on the Sabres roster.
My mind is open. A “washed” Patrick Kane is an instant upgrade over Girgensons, Okposo, or Olofsson on the ice. Let’s trust the leadership in the room and in the front office to maintain the culture and find a way to utilize his talent and experience to bring this team to the next level if it happens.
