@Oilers d'Edmonton

  1. I dont think kostin was the best player in the world but I feel like they should have kept him, but as a wings fan im happy haha

  2. I've never bought into the Edmonton Hype. I've seen nothing but a glaring weakness

  3. only a matter of time before the stars want out and demand trades probably to the rangers or some other predictable team

  4. Imo. They should give up RNH for some actual quality defense. They need that dude at the blue line that'll hold the team accountable for bad playing. Look at Trouba in NY. He went apeshit last season and the team played better, because their captain expected more from them.

    They need that general type player who leads by example and will do ANYTHING to win. There's very few of those in the league, but i reckon RNH should be good enough to land 1 of those said defensemen. And i think if they need to look for a guy like that. Go for Jaccob Slavin or Brett Pesce. Both stellar defensive guys with a bit of an offensive upside, but think defense first. Slavin would be tough to land, but Pesce is a really REALLY good defensive defenseman and they should check it out..

    Oilers have the stuff to give for an actual quality defenseman, but they seem to not want to break the "big" 3 they got in Drai, McJesus and RNH.
    But it looks like they really need to figure out who to sacrifice for that really good defenseman they need.

  5. I think this can be a great opportunity for the oilers. They need to respond, someone in that locker room needs to stand up and call everyone out and lead them to playing better. If they can learn how to work through this and get back to winning ways they will be unstoppable.

    Question is what is it going to take? Is it a new coach, do the goalies need to grow a pair and make the tough saves, or does Mcdavid have to start playing a solid two way game giving hits blocking shots and fighting to get this team going? Thats the question they need to figure out.

  6. Confidence loss is a total game-ender. You will make safe plays and fall behind the game if you don't think that you and the team can take risks and win.

  7. McDavid will never ask for a trade but he can win a cup elsewhere as Edmonton will never pay big money for a goalie.

  8. 11 of edmontons last 15 first round picks have been in the top 10 including 4 first over all picks. it's just embarrassing at this point..

  9. As a Vancouver fan…the fact that we've never drafted a player #1 overall makes me weirdly mad that Edmonton is this bad

  10. Man I always find this s*** funny because we're not even 20 games in or 30 games in or even halfway into the season and people are already predicting who's you know going to make it and who's not just remember the 2019 blues who were last in the league and ended up winning the cup and just last night my Habs beat the bruins and the Bs are doing well. Mtl was supposed to be close to the bottom but they're in a playoff spot. Things will change either for better or worse. Edmonton is my second favorite team so I really do hope they make a turnaround.

  11. You should be able to put 4 beer leaquers with McDavid and Dresaital and beat the sharks. Yikes

  12. Tally up another loss tonight. Even the announcers said look at the disappointment in their faces..

  13. Defense, depth, and goal tending. The oilers have none of it. Do you expect anything less than a first or second round exit?
