Is OP Gary Bettman? Lol

It is actually insane that NHL games are regularly being played in an arena that small. It must be awesome as a fan though.
DotAppropriate8152
If by “hot” you mean draws in more than 2000 people well then no. Our WHL team has higher attendance than that and they kinda suck right now.
mudamuckinjedi
5,000 ain’t a market, most of those probably wondered in any way lol
likesexonlycheaper
Put all those people in on a regular sized arena and that shit will look empty.
SuperSafe2019
Yeah, seems nuts when there is 4000 people there
xannydimes
Unfortunately outside of the Cardinals, Arizona is in it’s most successful sports era in awhile, basketball and even baseball will always beat out hockey in that market
They don’t know how good they have it, the Sun Devils are always electric and if nothing else the Coyotes have some of the coolest branding in the history of sports
LosPatos47
Gary is that you?
Fun_Description_385
It’s a fucking college arena lmao
JiffTheJester
Holy spam account this guy
BJsFeelGood
No. Lol. There’s maybe 5,000 people there. College and AHL teams have bigger arenas/better crowds
MuhQueeenn
Looks like a Jr B game in a small town.
Jefflehem
It just seems that way when all 1100 people cheer at the same time.
External_Trick4479
It’s becoming a college hockey town (everyone knows this is ASU, right)?
PiousDemon
It already is. Always has been.
The problem with the Coyotes isn’t caused by the fans.
1. Ownership sucks
2. They built an arena far away from the people who love going. This was the first fuck up.
3. GM made some horrible moves.
Fans just got tired of driving 2 hours each way to watch a team where ownership wasn’t doing what they should to provide a winning franchise.
When the Yotes were good and in the playoffs early on, that arena was packed and everyone wore white. It was an absolutely crazy atmosphere.

High school hockey games get louder pops. Arizona does not deserve hockey anymore. Tried. Failed. Move on. It’s embarrassing to play out of a college rink
usedtosmokepot
More people at a Canadian high school game.
DesignerPlant9748
It’s one of the most rapidly growing markets in the country. The potential is most definitely there.

OP is a troll.
Hockey here is legit. All levels. Wake the F up.
The previous owners made bad arena deals that buried the team. New owner is doing fantastic job trying to give the team a proper home.
