The way Lafs waiting for Panarin to celebrate is so wholesome. That line (esp Laf and Bread) is magic and they just seem connected on some deep level.

Feel like it’s the first time in awhile we’ve seen Panarin develop legit chemistry with a winger. Obviously Panarin’s been red hot but part of it has to be attributed to Lafreniere’s ability to get him the puck. And I think he loves how much Laf is doing the dirty work. Plus Laf has been finishing too. I hope these two don’t get broken up all year and just keep lighting the league on fire. So fun to watch. Whenever the two of them step on the ice my eyes are glued to the TV

Laf is lighting up. Everyone is saying kakko isn’t looking hot, but he hasn’t really had a chance to prove himself. The kids line was electric and it’s cause they all worked well together. Galant refused to let them develop with other players, and I think that if he was given more trust he wouldn’t be in the position he’s in. The kid skates well and has amazing puck handling. He’s too scared to shoot though because gallant seared pass to the vets don’t shoot mentality. He’s a vet now. He needs to be more confident in himself.

I think him and Laf are very similar, both having strengths that they weren’t able to develop under gallant. How’s the time to let them off the leash and let them get dirty. I said be patient with Laf, he needs time. I’m saying the same thing with kakko considering he’s been through worse coaches than laffy has. He has a lot of bad habits to break from bad coaching decisions. Everyone saying he is at best a 2nd liner, I think he could be a top liner if he’s allowed to play his game and breaks his habits.

That line stays together. I know we all want Chytil to break into the top 6, but Tro has proven his spot.

Why is the next game Saturday? Almost a whole week off.

If I had to nitpick, injuries are mounting up. I’m really hoping Lindy is ok because our team usually loses when he doesn’t play.

Also, despite the horrible scheduling with all these stupid road games, our competition has been rather mediocre at best. We haven’t played anyone great except for Vancouver so far, lost to CBJ and NAS.

I’m falling in love with Laffy all over again
