  1. That was incredible what Gio did. He was definitely winded afterwards and needed to sit and rest for a few minutes

  2. I agree with kipper. The other guys seem to have forgotten that this happened with Spezza, too. They won that one game, then what happened?

It is indeed a problem of young guys not stepping up.

  3. Love Sammy going at it with Kyper, and Bourney being caught in the middle. Sammy is right. Whether Gio or not, it was the precise response that Kyper has said the Leafs needed but, when it happens, there’s something wrong with it?

  4. Kypreos needs to appreciate that whomever it needs to be to light that fire, is exactly who it needs to be. The answer cannot be the problem. Every single player on that roster could’ve done, and perhaps should’ve, before Gio answered the bell. But at the same time every player is on that roster for purpose, and of all the stats we could look at, I do not feel age should be in the conversation. I’m 40 myself, and I would probably lose that fight 10/10 times, but you stand for and with every other man there. Bone, bruises & wounds will always heal.

  5. Kyper is 100% right here. I'm glad Gio got in there, but, it should or could have been someone else and long ago. Matthews, Tavares, Marner, Nylander, Bertuzzi, Gregor, McMann etc.. Take your pick. They don't have to throw them and break their hand but they gotta get in there at times.

  6. Gio landed a beautiful shot directly to the chin to start that fight…and it's awesome to finally see a leaf response to aggressive plays ❤❤❤❤

  7. You are always looking g at the negative side of things. Literally the most critical towards the team. It bothers me

  8. Nick always needs something to complain about.
Big guys score – need depth scoring
3rd line scores – can't rely on the 3rd line for goals, need the big guys scoring
    Nick your act is tired

  9. Not a leader?! I CANT BELIEVE IT, just cause he isn’t a star player doesn’t mean he’s not a leader in the room😂

  10. Kyper is so wrong, if able to get paid and play the game then you can be one to fight.

  11. Kypers ability to be both right and wrong in the same sentence is second to none. He's right that when the old man has to roll up his sleeves and show the kids how it's done, you know things are bad. But also wrong in that Gio isn't a leader… that's a terrible take Gio is a natural leader, and he did what needed to be done, making him arguably the MOST important leader on that team right now.
