Really Glad Turgeon is in Hall of Fame as Dale Hunter ruined his career along with Derek King as well who was getting like 40 Goals with him and Thomas. Steve I think did pretty well after NYI but DK went into the AHL for Detroit Farm team Griffins I think for most rest until his HC with Chicago Blackhawks etc. Unless I'm thinking of the Penguins heh. Either way he was something special who made those around him better. Best Player I recall seeing behind the Net before they changed rules or added space. He had a brief run with Kings as their PP Coach. Guy had a lot of negative things happen to him. I cried when I read about the other Penguins retired number 21. Aaaaah Lame falls into the Oilers trap and doesn’t scratch the players he should’ve. There’s 4 players that immediately come to mind when you think of taking liberties last night and if you don’t know who they are, you don’t know hockey. With that said, Lame sits down Martin and puts in a guy that looked lost last night when he could’ve and should’ve sat Casey or Anders. We all know that if a move is made, Lame will get launched and be blamed for all of it when it’s primarily Lou and ownerships fault. I said it last year that employees at UBS saw the team after losses acting like there was nothing wrong and they went on their way with not a care in the world. The isles I grew up with had a captain and teammates that held each other accountable and that doesn’t exist in this team. Yeah let’s hear how they do alot for the community, I couldn’t give less of a crap about that, they aren’t social workers they are supposed to be a pro hockey team. Unless ownership starts to see their ticket sales and anything else financially dip, they will sit on their safe zone and laugh behind our backs. I digress.

Lane and his line blender is doing it again. He had some scoring going with Holmstrom-Pageau-Fasching, but broke it up to get the alleged top line going. These lines have no chemistry or cohesion. Now everyone is gripping their sticks tight.
Back to basics. Pick your lines and focus on passing and shooting drills.
@16:30 – That is what happens to most NHL players in their 30's. It's like a light switch gets flipped and the game passes them by. Some elite players like Crosby, Kane, Ovi, etc. can still find success beyond 30 but, generally this is why you do not sign average (when in their prime) NHL'ers to extended contracts well into their 30's. Seems like the switch as flipped on Lee, Martin and Clutterbuck this year as well. What's gonna happen if the switch flips on Palmieri or Nelson this year or early next year? We have MULTIPLE years left on most of these guys. Ooof.
