  1. Pre match prediction – A team wearing Blue, White and Orange will win this…….or draw

  2. Woodcroft effect. Guarantee they win like 6 in a row 😅 and the ex-coach gets no credit.

  3. The Coach prepares the Team for the Game, it's up to the Players to perform.
The new Coach didn't win that game, Edmonton just stopped leaking Oil.

  4. Well that’s 2 wins in a row let’s see how long this last for. I saw big improvements tonight actually played a full 60 minutes and everyone had balanced icetime not to shabby.

  5. Here come the Oilers. Remember St. Louis in 2019? Last place in Jan ended up winning the Cup. I see a similar pattern.

  6. Good to see what I think is the end of the both inexplicable and disappointing start to the Oilers’ season. Cheers, from south of the border.

  7. Зря Айлендерс убрали Барри Троица. В итоги команда разваливается на глазах. Ни игры и самое главное нет игроков которые могли взять игру на себя.

  8. Jeez this was boring to watch for a good chunk of it. Edmonton definitely played like a team that was upset about Jay’s firing. Still they recovered and played a solid game as it went on.

Congrats on your first win Kris!

  9. It looks like the trend has changed – another great hockey game. The Oilers seem to have found the handle to win.

  10. Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers wins over Anders Lee and the New York Islanders 🏒🟠🔵⚪🇨🇦

Edmonton Oilers went up to 4-9-1, while the New York Islanders dropped to 5-6-3

  11. That would have been a relief for Edmonton to win a game after the horror start to the season.
New York are also doing badly this year and I wonder if Bo Horvat is starting to wish he should have stayed with Vancouver!

  12. When Skinner let that first goal in in the first minute, I was like “Oh no. Here we go again!” Fortunately, things turned around.

  13. Oilers will make playoffs. But the problems will remain once they get bounced. Those problems being defense and lack of offensive depth.

  14. Announcer calls out Mcdavid’s name twice on the ice even on a shot and it was #93 not #97. While #93 does resemble the play type of Mcdavid, they are not the same skillset.

  15. The oilers seem to panic when in their own zone, and they are are waiting for Mcdavid to get in position, giving up a good chance

  16. Knoblauch should have gone into the dressing room at the end of the game and thanked the boys for starting his career with a "W". It's a great reward for a solid guy stepping into the mess that Woodcroft left behind. Hopefully they can build on and keep some momentum.

  17. It's not the new coach that won this game, it's the fact you played Kane into the lineup. Maybe the new coach new that, I dunno. Go Oilers

  18. Was there no penalty called when Foegele left his feet to ram the Islander’s head into the boards? Used to be called charging. Looks like they really want the Oilers to start winning.
