    This don’t hit right without Woody win or lose. I’m from Kansas and never played Hockey in my life. Sutter and Woody got me into the sport. Loved the adversity they discussed. So entertaining. Unfortunately I placed a big bet on the oilers to win the cup right before Woody got fired. Have a horrible feeling about it but the win tonight helped.

    Jay Woodcroft prove himself, i think oilers issue is bigger than just changing head coach. I even think it was mistake to change woodcroft away.

    I’m sure Knob is a great guy. It’s just hard to see the organization shoot themselves in the foot by letting Woody go. The Oilers will come to regret this error.

    As far as Leon is concerned: it’s very obvious now that Leon was refusing to play for Woody and that was why the offence was in the tank. Probably the defence too as I’m almost positive that’s why he wasn’t playing.

    I sure hope Paul takes Bouchard aside and works him hard, his defensive ability is seriously holding him back! Paul understands the difference between taking the puck and when to stay back, I believe Bouchard doesn’t have the confidence either way?

    It's just a holiday of some kind! It was finally a pleasure to watch! I think many fans have now seen what a team can do if the players come out during the match in the same links! It was wonderful! The system was visible, it was clear that everyone was practicing in defense, and, for the first time in a long time, all four links were playing dangerously!!! This is a huge achievement. This has not been the case for the last three seasons. It was a team. The coach has only been at the helm for a couple of days, and already such changes, it's a great job. It's very nice to see a head coach who understands how to play hockey and the guys spent the whole match in constant combinations! Congratulations, Coach, and thank you for your attitude towards the players and the process. It was nice to see how involved you worked with each of them during the match. This is a deep approach.     You can just see this guy doesn't have it like a deer in the headlights even indicates that there's no connection with Draisaitl Leon will be signing a Huge contract somewhere else

    The whole woody thing reminds me of the bruce there it is garbage in Vancouver. Both coaching changes were needed

    It was refreshing to see both Knoblauch and Coffey mentoring players ( who seemed to be listening) on the bench while the play in question was still easy to recollect. A little but if cheerleading after a goal helps too. So sick of these robotic coaches. Now if they can just vary the tribal goal celebrations as well.

    Loved Woody and wasn’t happy with the move but it’s hard not to like this guy so far. And obviously if the wins start coming we’ll all like him even more.
