If I've learned anything from my time as a Leaf's fan, it's that there's A LOT of gossip surrounding the moves that the Leafs might make. While I'd love to have Zadorov and Tanev on the team, I'm not gonna get excited until some more concrete news comes up. Plus a part of me is worried about what these guys would cost in terms of picks and prospects (I don't want Minten, Cowan, McMann or Liljegren to get shipped out)

Both of Zadorv and Tanev would be great, but not while losing Brodie and Liljegren.
Id rather focus on just Zadorov and insist Klingburg is dealt. Even if it means younger guys and picks have to be included.

Why in the heck would Flames want Brodie? Older, no upside just downside and inflated salary. Klingberg actually worse. If I'm Flames G/M it's Zadorov for a 1st; Zadorov and Tanev 2x1st's or a first and 2 seconds.Abruzesse is a career minor-leaguer. Of course Leafs don't want to give up anything. Salary cap issues this doesn't work. Sorry Leaf fans.

I read a trade rumor today that leafs send T.J brode and 1st round pick in 2024 and 5th round pick in 2024 that was Canucks pick Nick Abruzzese and Potus Holmburg and D prospect who is a question mark for Niktia Zadorov at 50% and Christopher Tanev at 50% and A.J Greer if true or not we will see? They Think D prospect could be Marshall Rifai or Max Lavjoie but who is question mark and maybe could be Mikko Kokkonen because in the rumor that D prospect is Left side D-man from marlies and in rumor GM of Flames was a the Marlies game on Sunday or yesterday. If deal go through the leafs would clean up a 1.2m in cap space and with Timothy Lijegren on LTIR and see if John Klingburg is hurt or can be trade and the leafs would have 2.6M cap space and rumors brad Treliveing maybe eye Mario Ferraro and Filp Zadina on Sharks and leafs maybe in on Patrick kane too if true or not we will see?
