I for one am devastated by the impending news of Reaves’ and Klingberg’s season ending blown ACLs

  2. Seacord

Great vibes. Just like The Reaves signing.

Well, Matthews has been pretty vocal in the past about how much he likes Patrick Kane.

  4. Spider-Fan77

Unless it’s for like league min (which he’ll never do), no thanks.

Would Kane qualify for a performance bonus contract?

The player has signed a one-year contract and is over 35 years old.

    OR

The player has signed a one-year contract after returning from a long-term injury (has played 400 or more games, and spent 100 or more days on the Injured Reserve in the last year of their most recent contract).

No. Thank. You. We don’t need more defensively inept forwards who perform below their salary.

We have 3 lines that are absolutely rolling right now and a 4th that finally looks good without Reaves. How could this possibly help us? We need help on D. I think they met with him out of respect but probably didn’t pitch him too hard.

Too much of a gamble unless he signs for dirt cheap, which probably won’t happen.

If it’s for a very low cap hit, I say do it. If he’s truly healthy, his game will be at a higher level than it was recently when his injuries were holding him back.

He’s the kind of guy that might catch lighting in a bottle alongside one of our star duos OR at the very least the chemistry that him and Domi have is a known commodity.

We don’t need another sniper. We need help on D.

    Robertson – Domi – Kane

    Gregor – Kampf – Jarnkrok

    Pretty solid bottom 6

If Kane still has even half the skill he’s been capable of throughout his career, he’ll be an asset to any team in the league.

    Come on downnnnnnnnn ……………. For 885 000$

  15. chandler55

Hip resurfacing has like a 0% success rate in nhl

  16. billyshin

I don’t know man, Kane is turning 35…

  17. Kevin4938

Just what they need – another bad contract that will wind up needing a one-way ticket to Robidas Island.

I heard he’s headed to that hot mess Florida … and unless he’s talking with us for league minimum and regular healthy scratching he can keep headed that way

For a mil or less I’m absolutely on board. He still has power play talent and can easily put up points on a sheltered line. He’s basically a better Domi
