Most frustrating game of the season and it’s not even close

  2. ItTakesTreeGoals

    Habs deserved this one.

The better team lost, and it’s not often we are that team.

    Silver lining?

  3. Damn. On paper, that was our best chance at a win this week. Hopefully we can steal some points of Vegas and Boston again to salvage this missed opportunity.

  4. bcgrappler

    Things we know.

Dach was trending to be one of our best offensive players and was already a fixture in the top 6.

Even with dach we need another centerpiece.

    Good game to watch though

  5. godzirah

Man, that last minute and thirty was so frustrating to watch. SHOOT THE FUCKING PUCK.

  6. that GDT was far too toxic for how the team played

Markstrom played amazingly, that happens, nothing we can do about it, the team got chances at night long and never gave up

shit happens, it’s hockey you dont always score on every chance you get

  7. TonyMontanasSon

    Anderson just can’t score one…..

  8. Minato_is_God

Caufield and Anderson having a competition to see who’s more cursed

  9. Strong_Reference_762

All the makings of an extremely irritating game to watch

Frustrating game, lots of prime offensive chances going wide or off the post/crossbar. Anderson is so deep in his own head, can’t believe the chances he’s been missing. Not my favourite game from the defense either, some ugly unforced errors in coverage.

Caufield’s still dangerous despite going through a bit of a slump, but really need him to get it going on 5v5. Slafkovsky had another strong game, directly led to the Lindstrom goal and very much earned his assist. Great to see him continue buzzing along.

  11. douce_abeille

They had their chances but the team play as a whole after the first 10 minutes felt weird and frustrating

On a positive note I love Slaf’s play. Uses his body and look a lot less panicked when he has the puck.

  12. habsfreak

Gally dropping the gloves in front of Zadarov…man never change Gally 😂

  13. Habs_Apostle

They tried. Had their chances, but just couldn’t bury it. That’s the way it goes sometimes (shrugs). On to the next one…

    Go Habs Go!!!

  14. crissdecaliss

Anderson had an incredible game. Y’all hate all you want he had the most chances tonight

  15. sean_psc

Slafkovsky’s line got on the scoresheet (with no offside retraction), which they deserved after recent games.

Unfortunately, the voodoo hex on Anderson appears to have spread to all of our other wingers.

Montembeault played capably, though he looked uncharacteristically nervy at a few points.

  16. Missed_Your_Joke

Solid effort tonight by the lads. Nothing wrong with losing a game like that. Sometimes you just hit the post a bunch and face a hot goalie.

Markstrom played out of his mind.

  17. They need to work on passing on the powerplay How many times has a guy been open and the pass just doesn’t get to him clean

  18. bathbwoi

Caufields timing seems a bit off not worried though he’ll find it. He had so many shots on net tonight to

  19. BillyShears19

Probably our best 3 game stretch of the season so far and all we have to show for it is an OT win. Hockey kinda sucks sometimes, haha

  20. I want Slaf in critical minutes. We need better puck possession, mostly with an empty net. Send our possession machine.

If Dach was healthy, he would be there. He’s not. Send Slaf.

  21. antoinePucket

Anderson is cursed af (but still playing good), but Newhook has got to be our weakest link in the top-6.

I can’t remember a single good play from him in the past few games.

  22. PumpkinEater808

That game should have been an email

  23. JJFrank1eJJ

They fucking tried. And that’s what you want to see from a young team.

  24. Paparmane

You know what, I had fun. It felt like a playoff game ahah. Thought the Habs played great, but should have buried some. Bad puck bounces for Caufield tonight. I don’t even know what to think for Anderson. He looked extremely unlucky at times, but also missed some that he should have gotten.

  25. ukrainianhab

*disclaimer I missed a lot of the game. It will now be a prerequisite for the ladies to download a Habs schedule and not call me during the game jk kinda*

    *BAD*

    – Habs started well. It seems at least the first period this was a hungry team off a loss. It seems this year Habs aren’t getting much breaks with the matchups either flames came off an L and it seems even the teams they get on back to backs are coming off an L and are motivated.

    – Sometimes you get out goalied markstrom was great.

    – There was only one way that wasn’t going to be a goal and that was Anderson shooting it right in Markstroms glove. The reaction was Markstrom not even knowing it really himself. That was right in the glove.

    – This summary is bad I know curious though you guys can take it over tonight!

    *GOOD*

    – Caufield shots. It’s coming. He missed a glorious chance in the third it’s just a matter of time before he pops off.

    – Logically Anderson will score soon. It’s also coming.

    – ILG (I love Guhle).

    – Lindstrom first goal.

    – Let me know below the good as well!

  26. Giveadden21

Fuck Lindholm, fuck Markstrom and fuck Calgary

  27. imtoocoldforthisshit

Team is playing good hockey but everyone is snake bitten. Pretty sure Caufields last regulation goal was the Washington game. Anderson could have easily had 2-3 tonight bit didn’t. Guys just ain’t cashing in. Last time we scored more than two in regulation was the Tampa game and that was 50 minutes of Tampa protecting a 4-0 lead.

  28. lwitchermode

Guess we need another elite sniper and playmaker ?

  29. alex1596

Is it just me or did passes never seem to land. Passes were constantly bouncing off the recipients stick

  30. campbell_love

This sub got kind of crazy toxic out of nowhere lol, this was not a bad game at all

  31. Longshanks123

How did Huberdeau score 115 points two years ago? He’s more invisible than Drouin
