  1. It’s an interesting dimension to things to recall that Eichel was the second draft pick in 2015 to Mc David as first pick..we all watched the meteoric and unprecedented success of Mc David. Out of the shadows comes Eichel in 2022-2023 …from never in a postseason to winning The Cup. That was a tough and incredible postseason matchup which McDavid and Oilers ultimately lost to their division rival VGK..

That had to have made for a long summer for McDavid. We all know how awesome he is..but it’s everything to win the Cup. And he wants to lead his team there.

Just wondering how much of a reset there was from that. Jared Bednar spoke often of how the Avs modeled their Cup season by referencing their loss the prior season to VGK…it was their centerpiece in their quest.

Will be interesting to see things going forward.

  2. Horvat is not getting a good reception elliote. Not happening

  3. The most Mighty Ducks goal of all time is "Off the floor, on the board." There is no other answer.

  4. If anybody can help me out, I’m looking for an episode where Elliott’s was talking and there was a very long outro that he was speaking over. I don’t know how else to describe it but I want to hear that jingle again haha. Definitely the latter half of the 22-23 year. I want to say it was over the summer and I’m confident it was not a car cast

  5. It is quite understandable that they fired the coach when they did. Just last week he was spotted jaywalking once again. And after each loss more and more critics were coming out of the woodcroft.

  6. Oiler recipe for disaster; a McDavid Sandwich

One slice of Jeff Jackson & another slice of Kris Knoblauch, filled with loads of Holland-aise flavoured baloney.

Chase it with a little Paul Coffee & a Dustin Schwartz, to go…

  7. I love seeing the podcast pop up on my screen every Monday and Friday. The guys are such a great team, and it is always interesting. And every week we hear Elliotte say, "Look!……" So familiar now.

  8. Maybe all of this is true. But we can't ignore the fact that McDavid's on ice frustration meltdown against Vancouver and the coaching change were just six days apart.

  9. Probably nobody would ever say this out loud, but I have a hunch that Bedard-mania has slightly f**ked with the head of Connor #1, with some trickle down to Leon. It can't have felt great for the brightest spotlight to have shifted away.

  10. 32 Thoughts full episodes are awesome! Thanks!
Do you think you'll do timestamps for these full episodes in the future?

  11. Conner and Leon called for this. when the press asks them, they look so lost, it's not us. but the fans and the press drag them in front of the camera, and it shows on their face. you know behind the scenes, owners GM hey Conner and Leon, we give you money players to help you succeed we are counting on you guys to lead us through. what's the problem and here comes all the excuses . and coach pays the price.

  12. Do you see the leafs land both zadorov and tanev if so what does Calgary get back in return

  13. Another linecoach of canada or usa… Nhl is too fraid to take finnish coach. Scary thing if he win cup and built a nice team.

  14. 17:52. Jeff Jackson said in the press conference that he wanted to fire woodcroft after the season opener loss vs Vancouver so not correct
