Season going down the toilet fast. And no even with Jack back it won’t help. This is becoming a coaching problem and clearly Ruff is delusional if he thinks the D was good.

Small defense that gets winded working off the forecheck and goaltending that can’t block anything outside of a straight shot to the chest. Has nothing to do with the coaching. The injuries have been terrible at that…We play tempo based hockey. You can’t do that successfully when you give the first goal EVERY GAME!
No one checks. Luke is horrible defensively. Hamilton is horrible defensively. Siegenthaler has disappointed all season. Bahl is proving he may not be a regular NHLER. The goaltending needs an upgrade (as always). It is what it is. Boys will get better , the time is now.

Sorry to tell all my devil fans but ANDREW BURNETT was the key to last year's successful season. Ruff was never a good coach. Andrew came in and set up the old panther system. It worked!! Now we have the team and no coach!! Terrible move by Fitz letting Andrew walk. He was the best thing to happen since Roberson and Lamaire. This team can't be a candle to last year's team. If ruff tells me how good my defense was last night we more time!! He will officially sound like John hynes !! Smith is a gapping hole that is sucking life out of your team. Last night's non boarding call and then fight by Smith killed all momentum we had in the 3rd. He is a serious issue on the ice for the devils. 1 of many issues we are having at the moment. But again it's coaching?!
