@Islanders de New York

What, what are the good things?

  2. Freddybone32

If the standings had a « good things » column we’d win the president’s trophy!

  3. tallbeans

Good things like what, someone replaced the coffee creamer in the break room without being asked?

  4. SmashYourEnemies02

This gives off capuano vibes. Like after Boston curb stomped them 6-0 at the coliseum years ago

That’s what Quinn and Gallant would say after an ass whooping. And you can all see how they’re doing now. Lambert’s time is up

These guys never take any accountability. Even lee was saying they did “a lot of good things”

Back to small town/joke franchise mentality… ughh

Idk, this one’s on the boys. 2 bad the period penalties and then couldn’t kill them off.

If you ignore the second half of every game we’re elite

  13. pacing_eagle

They need a John Tortorella type as coach to give these guys a wake up call.

What absolute nonsense. What good things?
Getting to the right venue on time?
Offensively bad, defence awful, special teams horrible, discipline woeful, gun goalie struggling poor selections.
    It all looks bad, honestly.

Is this an Aaron Boone quote? Was waiting for the infamous « it’s right in front of us »

Good lord, NY sports have fallen off big time.

  16. eviss2315

This reminds me of earlier this year when Aaron Boone said the Yankees had « a lot of good at-bats » in a game where they struck out 18 times.

Whatever he smokes, I want to have it

I could see « good things » if this was a 4-3 loss. But how many « good things » can be pulled from yet another one goal game from the team? Is the plan to constantly win the game 1-0?

  19. Actual_Bluebird

Like taking a penalty 3 seconds into a PP?

Damn we lost to the oilers who lost to the sharks… chalk it tf up boys

  21. Separate-Cow3734

Winning would be a good thing, not playing a full game, bad thing
    No effort at all

This guy knows he’s going to be on the unemployment line very soon, rightfully or not. The way he said it, he was totally dejected.

  23. Slipperee99

This guy sounds like Robert Saleh

Unpopular opinion but last nights game was their best recently at 5 on 5. 2 badly timed penalties did them in.

Keep in mind I’m not say it was a great game by any stretch; just the best we’ve seen in a week or two. And Edmonton didn’t look great either until the go ahead goal woke them up. Unlike us, once they took the lead they smelled blood and turned it up a notch.

Patrick Roy name is floating around , he takes no crap . Need someone to push the players and make them accountable
