I don't jump on bandwagons because I can see what a player is like long before people start analyzing after the obvious.I stated long ago Anderson is not a good player his hockey and shooting IQ is very low.I also remeber everyone blaming the coach when Cole wasn't scoring but I pointed out that year that Cole had ther shots he simply wasn't shooting well and I stated it's because he is inconsistent and needs a lot of open ice like PP's and 4 on 4's.The player who takes all the blunt of ineptness is SSammy he has played very well but the team in front of him is giving him little help.
What I noticed in the Clagary game was that a few players looked tired Matheson being one because he plays a lot but he doesn't just play he rushes a lot and skates a lot so he will get tired more tired than others.
Gallagher as I called it gets a lot of shots usually second only to Cole so they will eventually go in.Slafkovsky continues to be a dumb hockey player he is ok simply rishing straight ahead with his speed and reach and yeah he can make maybe 1 good pass a game but he is a big defensive liability.RHP satill remains imo the msot responsible 2 way player on th eteam and SHOULD be playing with Nick and Cole because it is not about making sure COLE is in the spotlight it is about the TEAM first.The biggest problem with the team will AWLAYS be there timer won't fix it and that is our players are VERY weak on the puck and lose most board battles.
Good game from the boys. Markstrom was the difference. When Roy is added to this offence it will be more potent and win games like that. Roy is ready whenever management is ready to bring him up and trade away someone like Armia, RHP or Ylonen if we can get something for them. Roy is ready and will fit right in the top 6 seamlessly.

Markstron was very good, of course you have to actually shoot on net to score. Markstrom didn't even have to move on the last JA shot…aimed it right into his gloe!!..thank you!

Anderson's wrister and shot in general aren't as bad as one might (VERY legitimately LOL ;)) think.
If you look at his a-stats, he's kind of a statistical anomaly, especially lately during the past 3 or so games.
He's had several good shifts where he :
– took the right set of decisions which opened several top opportunities for himself and the team
and
– Generally took okayish shots and passes (lack of space most of the time after he rushes on the forecheck)
For instance, his decision to go glove side was sound in this one at the end, and his shot would have been good enough to do the job most nights (their goalie was a WALL' what a save man!).
We need more options on the top 6 that's for DAMN SURE lol 😛
No point to even talk about a trade since his value took an enormous hit since last year. Either way we need him, we need SOME big guys that can forecheck (but he used to score so WTH is going on!).

I find he's always shooting AT the goalie instead of where the goalie is not. like he's on a breakaway…shoots at the goalie's chest… it's always like that.
I wish they would give Anderson a huge ovation at the next game and chant his name every time he is on the ice until he scores. It worked in baseball for Philly they decided to support their struggling star instead of shitting on him. I personally don’t think he’s well utilized – he should be on a plugger line, forecheck hard, cycle and net presence.
He’s on a skill line and Josh does not have the hockey IQ or hands to be a 2nd liner.
