All pending unrestricted free agents for the Calgary Flames need to be traded and start a rebuild. This potential trade would be good for both sides as Toronto upgrades on defense and Calgary gets futures. Just adds more spice to it as it's Brad Treliving trading with his former team.

not sure calgary is taking Brodie in a move. plus most likely prospects like niemela would be more of an interests than picks. but getting out of Klingbergs money would be worth it. Zadorov is great. be well worth it.
Nothing is happening for another ten days. So everyone can relax. I've yet to hear anyone report that the Flames are keen to trade defensemen. The only rumour I've heard from Friedman is that the Leafs are interested in Flames defensemen, Zadorov and maybe Tanev. I've yet to hear any sort of proposal that involved players the Flames would be interested in.
So this is at best half a deal or an expression of interest. Flames are not going to make a deal where they lose zadorov for two weeks and get nothing back . Call again on Nov 24th .
Please the tenth Leaf Prospect Nick Abruzzesse doesn't make this deal. Robertson is not a credible prospect anymore so you cant make this deal for him. Zadorov is an NHL player and a second pairing defenseman. He's worth, to a team that needs him, and doesn't want to give up good prospects or NHL players at least a first round pick. Zadorov is much better than Luke Schenn who was a sheltered third pairing defenseman in Toronto.
Taking John Klingberg and his 4.1$ million contract off your hands is worth a first round pick, And Calgary doesn't have the CAP space to take a Klingberg contract so that's just ridiculous. If the flames retain salary that costs you more.
The Flames are still trying to make the playoffs so they would be trying to trade their extra D for a little extra O. Now who might that be?

I read a trade rumor today that leafs send T.J brode and 1st round pick in 2024 and 5th round pick in 2024 that was Canucks pick and 3rd pick in 2024 that was the Islanders pick that the got last year and Nick Abruzzese and Potus Holmburg and D prospect who is a question mark for Niktia Zadorov at 50% and Christopher Tanev at 50% and A.J Greer and Walker Duehr if true or not we will see? They Think D prospect could be Marshall Rifai or Max Lavjoie but who is question mark and maybe could be Mikko Kokkonen because in the rumor that D prospect is Left side D-man from marlies and in rumor GM of Flames was a the Marlies game on Sunday or yesterday. If deal go through the leafs would clean up a 1.2m in cap space and with Timothy Lijegren on LTIR and see if John Klingburg is hurt or can be trade and the leafs would have 2.6M cap space and rumors brad Treliveing maybe eye Mario Ferraro and Filp Zadina on Sharks and leafs maybe in on Patrick kane too if true or not we will see? And in rumors today that William Nylander next contract 9.2m or 9.3M aav for next 7 years and signing bonus and 7 or 16 teams no move clauses with leafs. If true or not we will see?
