I know other teams play zone D but this team isnt built to play it. Go back to man to man. This dumb scheme got Woodcroft fired. It creates confusion on who is picking up who and leaves our players flat footed while the other team skates around with possession until they find a wide open guy.
That 3rd Seattle goal showed 3 kracken players buzzing while 5 Oilers in 'zone' are standing around covering nobody.
FUN FACT: oilers signed Evander Kane in 2022…. He has 9 Career Hat Tricks…. SIX (!!!) of them have been with the Oilers in that short time. And I'm proud to say i saw 2 of them at Rogers Place and i dont have season tickets or anything.
