@Maple Leafs de Toronto

    The kid might be developing into a good player.

    I’m wondering if maybe the scouts were onto something when they made this pick…

    A first round pick putting up 2 points per game with London? Easton Cowan get ready to be despised by this fanbase’s uncles in a few years!

    Still getting a laugh at the hate this pick was getting from a large portion of the fanbase.

    If you look at Cowan’s number’s last year, as a rookie, they trended upward throughout the season. His second half and playoffs were much better than his first half. He lead the OHL playoffs in rookie scoring by a mile. I think the Leafs saw an uncut gem that was maybe overlooked because of COVID years affecting some of these players ability to play.

    Doesn’t necessarily mean anything is going to pan out, but Easton Cowan might very well have been a player that, without COVID, would have gone much much higher in the draft because of having more play time.

    gonna be a top 6 gem have a feeling about this kid

  7. Cowan is on his way to be one of the cases where the Potato would have picked wrong.

    I was told by several people who had never seen him play that it was a bad pick

    From the one Knights game I’ve seen so far, he looked incredibly dominant on the ice. He got two goals and an assist.
