Islanders really made me think they were going to win with the early PP Goals. Then I was like here we go again with the 2 goal lead. Things started to unravel when I think Clutter took a Penalty at 2 0. Then it was like they were 5 on 3 and tied. Getting a Point is better than nothing. Its like Edmonton was trailing 3 to 1 with me thinking they will manage to get this into OT and Win. Glad to Finally Score 3 Goals heh. All the teams who won had least that many tonight. I don't even know who would be an option to Hire as Coach. Team is better of just taking for the 8th spot in Metro. Hopefully win Draft Lottery like Devils Wink Wink or Rangers supposedly did in the closed room BS. Even a Top 5 LHD who could improve that position would help. They need a 35 to 50 Goal Scoring Winger. Hire a Coach with W's in his Initials maybe ;)?

Gil, beyond time to fire Lame. This team isnt great, but they are definitely better than the penalties, lack of defensive structure, etc. Get an coach that demands respect.
This is ridiculous. Only thing I can see is blowing up the roster after season but who’s taking washed up vets on long contracts, not much in the prospect pool. Lou did some quick fixes the first two to three seasons that yielded some results but it aged fast. The roster is slow, low scoring with an inconsistent defense, the coaching staff is terrible aside from goaltender coach- Lambert, Maclean, and Houda need to be on unemployment, Lou’s stuck in the 90’s. This team needs so much that its def a few yrs away from playing important games in April

Gil you must be getting tired of sounding like a broken record. This team is headed for the abyss and might be the best thing for it. I mean really, who cares if they make the playoffs, the whole idea is to win the cup and if they can’t do that, then who really cares? I figure at this rate they’ll be bottom feeders by the middle of December. Who knows maybe ownership will finally wake up and do something productive for change

Good morning team. Couldn't catch the game, but sounds like the same old thing. Started to think, hmmm, so I really need to watch them play. I could probably draw up the script in my head. I have a sure fire way for the Islanders to start winning. I'm surprised I didn't think of this a few games ago. I make it a rule to NEVER bet Islander games on my sports app. It's the whole, bet with your head and not your heart thingy. I think I'm going to start betting on the Islanders opponents to win. 100% as usual, I do get frustrated with the officials inconsistencies. Last night Clutter Buck takes a boarding penalty & the game before Mayfield almost gets his head squished, the Dude leaves his feet about 2 feet in the air and nothing. Do get me wrong, the Isles deserve to lose this game, ugh.
Maybe it’s time to give Ruslan Iskhakov a look. He’s played 12 games with 4 goals 6 assist & 6 penalty minutes. His size is an issue but not so much in November when there’s open ice & less physicality. So now maybe 🤔 as good a time as any, to give him a look?
