I love being a Canucks fan 🙂 after seasons of failure. Bad signings. We have a great team now
canuck fans are so toxic they def don't deserve it lol they didn't waste a second to hate on edm like crazy when they were in a bad slump. yet edm fans were rooting for them in the playoffs a few years back. how can y'all canuck fans be so toxic towards edm and their fans when we wanted nothing but the best for you guys. fuck the canucks and their fans.

Honestly as a Habs fan, Im happy to Vancouver doing the way they are. Its refreshing to see them come back from the last year even if it's not many games in they're playing incredibly strong. Itll be interesting to see how their season continues…

As a Leafs fan, I am more than a little bit envious to see how well Vancouver is doing, but I'm also happy to see them doing so well. Especially out of no where, they've just worked hard as a team to build what they've got
I feel so bad for Horvat. He was a heart and soul guy who deserved to be part of the success Vancouver is having, but sadly, he got screwed over by Benning's cap management. At least they got Hronek out of it, but still.

The Canucks are playing insane. But yeah everything about these first 17 games feels totally unsustainable.
Not taking anything away from their scorers, but in my opinion the big turnaround comes from the additions of soucy, cole and a healthy hronek. Not like hughes, petterson and miller didn‘t score like that the last few seasons. But vancouvers defense was so bad, they had way less puck possession and more goals against. They had elite offense all the time, but they had poolman, myers on their top4. Cole and soucy, even friedman, helped that team to be this good while helping out demko too.

Take 3 games against the oilers out of the equation(I’m an oilers fan and they wouldn’t have beat the Abbotsford Canucks the first ten games of the season), and the Canucks have won exactly 2 games against playoff projected teams(FLA and DAL). They also lost to NRY, and TOR. The rest of their wins came against NSH(2), MON, SJS, NYI, OTT, STL. Lost to CGY, PHI.
They play SEA and SJS twice each the next five games, so their record will likely get padded a bit more, but I see them coming down to earth after that.
