A good indication of how close the team is to figuring out is how close the game ends. It's not blow-up losses which was the whole last season's theme. Instead, it's 1 or 2 goal losses where we have the lead at some point and for the most part, the game is tied or very very close. Getting scoring from the guys who earn +8 million, would likely make a loss a win at this point. Getting the most paid guys going, would mean more goals 5v5 and PP, and that would lead to an exponential increase in wins.
