Je comprends. Ces 4 équipes se retrouvent un peu désavantagées à leur retour à la maison. 82 matchs, c’est un programme épuisant sans ajouter le décalage horaire. Je comprends que je veuille amener la LNH dans d’autres parties du monde. Mais faisons-le peut-être pendant la pré-saison. Ou apportez-leur le jeu All Star.

I think I would if I was in his position. These guys travel all the time so this isn’t something new/exciting for them. Unless you’re someone like Nylander who has family seeing you for the first time there is very little sentimental value in this trip if any. Larkin wants to win games and make the playoffs and even though it’s early all these games are crucial. The teams they play when they get home will be much less jet lagged than they are.
As cool as it is it pointless. Having a few international games isn’t going to make international following skyrocket long term. These guys already have a packed schedule give them a break.
Should be pre season. Or do the stupid all star game over there. This is more about money and marketing than anything. He’s right it hurts all teams involved
These games should have been at the very start of the season so it didn’t impact the schedule as much. It doesn’t make as much sense to do it in the middle and cause a week long interruption.
He’s not wrong in what he’s saying. He clearly wants to win and make the playoffs and this can be seen as a roadblock in that goal. At the same time, Sweden and it’s players/people have meant so much to this organization. It’s ok to celebrate this great sport and our great organization with them.
I’m against this in every sport. Nfl with teams that won’t make the playoffs, not letting long time season ticket holders see them play whoever they go up against overseas, then there’s NASCAR with their LA colosseum bullshit as if there aren’t any southern small tracks that haven’t been raced in decades.

20 games in 40 days following the trip definitely sucks and is a very tough schedule, that part is very hard to argue.
