Solid take – NHL did what many orginizations have done: Get duped into having two totally different teams work on the mobile app vs the web based app and it’s a total disaster.

At one point it wouldn’t move to the current date so I was stuck in the 2021-2022 season and had to FFW to the current date to see what games were playing.

Surely they can’t plan leave it as is?? Even though there’s no indication they intend to change the current state. I have yet to see anyone of importance acknowledge the issue. The thing is, this isn’t mere grumbling; it’s a sentiment shared by nearly all users from the most casual fan all the way up to actual broadcasters who find the current version almost useless. Reverting to the previous state would be a beneficial decision, and openly acknowledging user feedback for a fresh start would be a highly commendable move.

I’m fairly certain that whoever is in charge of things like this in the NHL is ancient. Like real boomer status, 60-70 years old, and only gripping onto power due to premature rigor mortis. They have no idea how the digital world works, and they don’t want to know.

I haven’t heard a single positive thing about the app which tells me, they went with the cheap version and decided to test the waters. Too typical these days.
Kinda seems like the same people that do the player safety, or lack thereof.
