He’s been impressive. I thought for sure we’d be having to make a hard decision about whether to keep him in a crowded forward group with the Jackets, or keep in in Cleveland and risk him leaving back the the KHL in January, but he’s quickly shown he deserves to be here.
Team might have a hard decision on whether they want to keep using him as a big body power forward, or if they want to move him to center for the 3rd or 4th line

He’s been the one silver lining of this season. I worry for his sophomore slump

when he started off by leveling & throwing hands with Wi-Fi I was like great, another 6-minute-a-night goon. But he has surprised. We’ll have to see if his point production stays consistent rather than it just being a hot streak, because I’m not sure yet and we’ve seen this before.

Vronk definitely took a giant step forward not long after the call up. Watching him through Traverse City > training camp > AHL stint, I was worried he would struggle adapting to a new style of play. But everything seemed to click for him after only a couple of games w/ the big club. It’s not just the size/power, he’s making great passes and shows he understands how to set up plays with and without the puck.
