  1. 6 of the Oilers losses in the first 11 the Oilers had generated between 35 and 49 shots.
…..A team generating that many shots and some games DOUBLING the shot total of the other team tell's you that they are probably better than that slump suggested.

  2. Can we bring back Maggie the monkey, Maggie makes better and more accurate predictions and has more hockey sense than Frankie.

  3. Have any of them confidently beat a proper, well-playing team during this "turnaround"? No? Then there's your answer.

  4. One of the issue for Dj's Rainbow Warriors this season is spotty goaltending? WTF are you so called experts talking about? DJ is the root of the Rainbow Warriors 5 year strech with out regular wins. what is it with you clowns and DJ the boyscout?

  5. Flames true test will be playing Dallas twice, Colorado, Vegas, and Vancouver (when rested) all again in the coming 2 weeks…. if they win a good number of those games against legit teams, I'll start believing, until then I agree, mirage.

  6. I'm not sure that I agree with Frankie on any of these assessments.
Ottawa is competitive but still a year or two away, so it doesn't quite matter yet.
Calgary needs to start dealing some soon-to-be UFA's (to Toronto, I hope) and rebuild this thing. Maybe they keep Markstrom.
Edmonton… no one is going to gift the Oilers a #1-type goaltender in a trade, so momentum is only worth as much as the team SV% is.
