2/13 in shootout attempts. I’d say *at least we won’t have to worry about them, come playoffs* …But I don’t think that’s going to be relevant

    Kaprisov just looks defeated

It looked like we were doing pretty well keeping the vibes of the franchise high during cap hell- but this year and next could get ugly

  2. TotallyNotMyPornoAlt

I think we might just suck, gang

  3. Well, glad I have the rest of the day to reflect on how fucking awful shootouts are

  4. BuckyCop

Different continent, same garbage players on the same garbage team. See you tomorrow

  5. CitizenStrife

If this season gets any worse (and it will), I will look back to Kaprizov and Zuccarello passing up multiple offensive zone chances in OT as a fucking embarrassment that explains everything about this season.

Be selfish for once, for fuck sake.

  6. MistahFinch

Shootouts are dumb. On to the next one.

(Please beat Toronto so my Leafs fan Sunday league teammates don’t get smug thx)

  7. jonn_jonzz

Creed’s seat is gonna get really hot if this shit keeps up.

  8. Apanic_Attacka

Wolves are finally good again and the Wild look as bad as the early expansion years, it can’t be a coincidence.

  9. BigPackHater

Kaprizov is broken. Glad I haven’t pulled the trigger on his jersey.

  10. DontPlayJustPray

Evason bud… you might have to start answering for this early season embarrassment my man.

  11. expungant

They have completely checked out at this point. They look like a shell of that team that looked amazing 2 years ago.

  12. guywhois0nline

On a positive note we are closer to an Eiserman draft pick lol

  13. trillwhitepeople

You have to wonder how many PP goals they’d have if Kap and Zucc acted like Ek exists. He’s wide open on the back door, and Kap and Zucc are just out there trying to play catch.

  14. PortugueseWalrus

PK was better, Gus was better, D was better. It’s a point at least.

  15. echelon999

The fact they repaired Zucc and Kap and it looks like this should be a fireable offense. The special teams has been dogshit for years and now our top scorers can’t score.

  16. basketcase-nimrod

kaprizov is not the move in the shootout. :((
    gaudreau, boldy, ek, are

  17. Primary-Pie-3315

Kap and zuccy shouldn’t be on the ice together at this point period.

  18. magniturd

Tomorrow’s going to be brutal… and if you’re not in a playoff spot by Thanksgiving it’s a tank year.

  19. Apanic_Attacka

This team has stayed afloat during the buyout years because of solid D and a superstar player, we have neither of those this year and it’s showing

  20. _nordstar_

Kap needs to shoot the puck, we need more finishing in general.

  21. rubbercat

A whopping *one* shot on goal for Kaprizov. Yikes.

  22. Shiz0Freakaz

15 mil in dead cap space+15 mil for two dead « offensive tallents ». Fire fucking everyone and rebuild around whoever is left in that mythical.prospect pool. Ofense is non existant, the only player who actualy made a fuss was effing veteran defender Bogosian.

  23. Kaprizov was tied for 79th in the league for goals, and tied for 50th for points going into this game. $9M and the letter “A”. Zero shots tonight.

  24. Goose312

On the plus side Rossi got a much deserved goal, Faber got a much deserved assist, and Brodin + Gus had terrific games. On the negative side pretty much everything else.

Zucc and Kaprizov together is becoming a big problem. Their obsession with getting the puck to each other is costing the Wild both in turnovers and passing up on other better quality options. The Wild had the Sens scrambling during a PP, Zucc had the puck with Ek wide open on the back door and an open passing lane. No one within 10 feet as the one down low defender was on the near side with Boldy and the other 3 defenders were too high in the zone trying to get back. Zucc instead of playing the easy high danger pass elects to try to force a puck through 2 defenders (it did not make it) to Kaprizov who would have had at best a 25 foot shot with a defender blocking him.

  25. I can’t even be mad at this game. They played defense and Gus finally looked in the groove. Now if the scoring just picked up….
